Dogs

did not bother us in Australia, unlike to those in Austria, where cyclists are really popular hunt objects. Either they were locked up or chained or not interested in bikers. The whole year round only one dog ran after us, however, it was too cowardly and didn't try to bite us.

Sometimes Dingos are stated on the list of dangerous animals, because allegedly there were attacks on people, who e.g. had kept strongly smelling food in the tent. However, usually they are unsociable. Only in areas with many tourists they sometimes rove about on campsites, etc. And that way it can happen now and then that for example shoes, which were left outside the tent in the evening, are missing the next morning.
