Sharks

Every now and then the meadia report on a shark attack on people. Especially in the warmer coast waters the animals are supposed to be very agressiv sometimes and to come near to the coast. For this reason many tourist beaches are protected with nets and in addition guarded by life-savers. By the way there are significant more incidents with jellyfish than with sharks. We only saw some harmless reef sharks during snorkeling on the Ningaloo Reef.
